Technical Support and Extended warranty service for a previously owned 90 Ton Mikado castings

PLEASE NOTE:  This service only applies to previously owned 90 Ton Mikado castings which were never purchased direct from Railroad Warehouse.  

Description of Service

Many individuals have found previously owned 90 Ton Mikado castings from Estate sales, Club donations, Ebay and other sources.  Castings, drawings and technical information is usually missing.  
Individuals that have these type of kits find themselves with no print drawings, no technical support and no warranty on castings.  This is not a good way to enter the steam locomotive construction stage.
If you purchased a previously owned 90 Ton Mikado kit that has missing parts, drawings and you would like technical support with warranty coverage, here is the solution.
This service provides you with updated prints, Technical support during construction and the assurance of buying a previously owned kit with confidence that you will be able to finish the project to completion.  

Here is what the service package offers.

1.  A new updated print set for the 90 Ton Mikado.  
2.  Technical phone support during normal business hours and/or by email.  An answering machine is available after hours to leave a message so we can get back with your questions during the next business day.
3.  A 1 year Warranty protection on your old set of castings.  So if you discover that you have a bad casting after machining, just ship the bad casting back to us and we will ship out a new replacement at no charge.  
4.  Receive a 10% discount on the purchase of 90 Ton Mikado castings for your project.

Cost for the above service:   $750.00 per year.

Terms and conditions of 90 Ton Mikado Technical support and Extended warranty service.
1.  Warranty is non-transferable.  
2.  This service is not available to Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, Overseas or where UPS ground rates are not available.  
3.  Defective replacement castings will only be shipped directly to the customer address that purchased warranty.  Customers must return castings for defective replacement.  
4.  Defective replacement castings are castings that have substantial mis-match sides that can not be machined correctly, sand pockets or air pockets that can not be machined out successfully to the dimensions required on print, or hard spots in the casting quality that can not be machined.  Just ship the casting back to us for a no charge replacement.
5.  Tech/Warranty service applies to only one 90 Ton mikado casting set per customer.  If customer has additional 90 Ton casting sets, additional service charge applies to each individual kit.
6.  Railroad Warehouse drawings and technical information is not Shareware.  Sharing Railroad Warehouse drawings or technical information with other builders will immediately void your warranty and suspend all service without refund.


To our valued current customers who originally purchased 90 Ton prints and casting sets direct from Railroad Warehouse, you do not need this service.  Your castings are protected under our regular warranty policy and Technical Support is always provided to you at no charge.
