DESCRIPTION:
Westinghouse L-8-PA Brakstand with engine brakes and train brakes.
Comes assembled but will need to be slightly dis-assembled for installation.
Unit will work with steam or compressed air up to 150PSI.
Steam line in: 1/4" MPT
2 brake lines out: 1/4" MPT
2 steam exhaust lines out: 3/16" MPT
This unit will require plumbing for operation.
Approximate unit dimensions are 2" X 2.5" X 1 3/4" for the room needed for
installation under cab floor.
Made to fit cab floor thickness from 0- 3/16" thk. Cabs with thicker
flooring will require builder to make longer studs for mounting the brake
stand body.
Tools required for installation:
Hand drill
Drills, #19, #43, 7/32", 9/32" ( drilling cab floor using template)
Hex wrenches
Hieght of unit is 5" from floor to the top of valve handle.
